On 14th May 2012, Charlie Greig, Founder of Podpassiv met with the Minister for Business and Enterprise, Mark Prisk along with Richard Harrington, MP for Watford at the BRE Innovation Park in Watford to discuss opportunities for government to support pilot schemes for communities of Podpassiv across the UK.

After recovering from the furious pace of Ecobuild last week, we have had chance to reflect on the comments and leads we acquired.  There is no doubt that PODPASSIV is a winner in more market sectors than we had originally thought.  The concept of "Garden Art" was well received and congratulated as a novel and refreshing concept. Now comes the task of creating gorgeous designs for our offerings in July.

PODPASSIV is a highly engineered flat pack-housing concept that we have been developing for the last two years which has been designed to provide families around the world with the 5 basic humanitarian rights they deserve, light, water, secure robust shelter, insulation and communication facilities without connection to electric and water services. The house provides, solar lighting, rainwater harvesting to 400L and solar USB charging facility for lap tops and mobile phones. Buildings can be bolted together to provide additional space.

We will concentrate on “ART IN YOUR GARDEN” modules first in the UK to get production going. (Details will be available on our site shortly.) Wherever PODPASSIV is used, revenue will be utilised to provide housing where itʼs really needed.
